daydreaming

daydreaming- is a short-term detachment from one's immediate surroundings, during which a person's contact with reality is blurred and partially substituted by a visionary fantasy, especially one of happy, pleasant thoughts, hopes or ambitions, imagined as coming to pass, and experienced while awake.

some people think of "daydreaming" as a time-waster, not using our time wisely, etc....I disagree.  I have always had quite the imagination, even as a little girl, but I'm not ashamed. I think it's important.  It gives us something to work towards or look towards, or can simply be an "escape." Daydreaming in itself can give us HOPE, and there is NOTHING wrong with that!

so "daydream" on...

...sharing some of my own fun "daydreams" today, all the simple things I love! It is so much fun!

Scripture of the day:
'Therefore, be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.' Ephesians 5:15-17
